Licences come in three tiers. The table shows the defaults of each tier; a licence issued by the Auditix team may differ (more devices, more platforms, an added feature), and its own page always shows what it really gives.

- Devices are the nodes the platform manages. A paid licence is sold with one step of devices.
- Platforms at once is how many platform instances the licence may be activated on at the same time (for example production and test).
- Development versions is an extra feature the Auditix team may add to a licence: the platform is then offered development builds as updates.
What the platform does with the licence
Section titled “What the platform does with the licence”The limits and features are written into the signed licence file when it is issued, so the platform applies exactly what it was given. On the platform:
- From 30 days before the end of the licence, administrators are warned.
- After the end, the platform keeps working for 14 days of grace, with a warning, then goes back to the Community limits.
- Nothing is deleted: only new items beyond the limits are refused. Tenants beyond the limit are frozen (kept, but out of reach) until a licence allows them again.
See Licence activation in the platform guide.
